I hate the Fat Ladies Arms pubs, Ok. I was very dubious about tonight's
gig in one - I've been to a couple of Che Fu gigs recently and had kind of
gone off kiwi hiphop - he's great on his CD's, but live, it was just a bit
tiresome. But I have to say, it was inspired to put King Kapisi and Dimmer
on the same bill in the Fats - I have finally found out how to have a good
time in one.

Standout tracks from King Kaps tonight were Saboteur (of course) and one
of the new album coming up - Psycho. Album is called Second Testament. The
Dimmer gig was cool too - started out with tracks like Seed, Evolution, I
think you are a Star but then they got King Kaps on the turntables and
played some cool instrumentals, don't really know the names. Very
appreciative audience (except for R's heckling) until the doorcharge went
off and the normal FLA crew turned up.

Looking forward to the Pluto/Marystaple gig now.
