Kiwi Fm - you listening?

this is not me being a bitch, just keen simply to find out who is listening and what they think of the new format etc...

I've only tuned in once or twice online, cause whenever I'm in my car which is the only time I listen to radio I always forget what numbers to tune into.

it was weird... kiwi seemed to be everywhere when they announced the new format, but then just dissapeared, in that I totally forgot they were even on-air again until just recently.

Forums: NZ Music,

nah. used to tune in to the morning show once in a while when I was in the car on the way to work, as Karen and Andrew were usually good for a laugh, but since I've changed my travel plan to bus-to-work-run-home my short window of potential commercial radio listening time has dropped away entirely. Even then, I'd usually tune into NatRad anyway...

a few people have told me things have improved greatly on the station. i am not reallly a radio listener. don't even have a radio in the car!

// i am not reallly a radio listener

who is?

My soundcard at work hasn't been going since May. I've resorted to using a discman(!). If I could be bothered I *might* bring a radio in.

I listened to the radio once.....

once....

I know it's old fashioned and uncool but i still listen to the radio in the car sometimes.
Not Kiwi though. National Radio remains good for a laugh now and then, and the odd slot on Active is ok, certainly better than the Breeze, although DJs with speech impediments are somehow still operating on the 89...

yeah, sorry about that.

Tuned into it for the first time the other week online. It was okay for the first few songs, then the ads came on and it felt so weirdly commercial...heard something like an ad for used cars up in Auckland/Manukau.

Heard the Edward Gains interview, it sounded so....polite. I guess I'm used to the randomness of Active and the geeky muso stuff on Sat. on Nat'l Radio....Still, I have to admit that I'm intrigued that Danielle Cormack is the Roots and Reggae DJ.

Enjoyed tuning into Fleet on Noizyboy's recommendation ages ago.

Yup, I put it on in the car- don't know what it was like before the format change, but FWIW I reckon it's tino pai. Case in point, I've got Cocoa Solid stuck in my head. Cos I'm H20 and you know that I'll wetcha. On repeat. Someone get it out.

Then again, I think maybe I'm just craving all things NZ since geting back to the country recently. But either way, lovin Kiwi FM.

Wallace's new sunday show was great. I've been tuning in to kiwi for the last couple of weeks. The new format is really quite good.

ahh is that where he went. wallace was great in the mornings.
