I'm a bass player who can sing some too. I'd like to join or start a band that ISN"T rock or indie or punk or metal. I realize that cuts out 80-90% of the people who use this website, but there must be other people out there are sick to death of all that and want to do something else. That could be pop, could be funk, could be reggae, could be jazz, could be something more out there/experimental. I can play all styles, but if you are into one of these then let me know. I have some material of my own, we can try that out if you want, but it's perculiar to my style and we could look for common ground elsewhere if not.

Now in spite of having said that, the last time I posted this ad I got calls from three people wanting me to join their rock band. Let me try again - unless your indie and/or rock is somehow original enough to be outside of the norm I don't want to play your indie and/or rock.
