hello rebelheart - this for you!

Throughout history, every single idiot who bought into a prediction of the end of the world was made a total fool of. In worst cases, entire lives and even entire towns were wrecked by these con-artists. And the worst con-artists right now are those trying to get you to support wars in the Mideast on promises that it will bring about The Rapture and open up those pearly gates wide for you.

idiot, if you actually read the Bible you'd know that Jesus said no-one knows when the second-coming is, only God

I may be mis-interpreting Trillion's intent, but I kinda thought that was the point he was trying to make.

yeah I know all about it. grew up in a christian home - went to christian high school. youth groups - churches - baptised - more churches. .home groups... cell groups ... more churches... my opinions on christianity are not based on someone from the outside. they are purely based on an insiders experience. growing up in a christian environment is a very stiffling experience, very backward, there's more to the world than God ann The Devil! Heaven and Hell, you've gotta read a few books man, start with The Secret Life Of Plants by Christopher Bird and Peter Tompkins. i think you'd really like it. when you've read that and pondered it for a while I'll point you in the direction of another....

cheers, i'm kinda the opposite, spent pretty much all of my teen years being anti-Christ and then changing when i was 16

haha - anti-christ is a bit full on. isn't 'neutral' a slightly better word.

It's wicked awesome that you've embraced christianity the way you have - kinda "anti-thinking".

haha excelent. if that went over your head - rebel heart that's for you. ...

no idea what you're talking about. a lot of questions/doubts youse have about Christianity, you know you're not the first people to raise these issues and they have (mostly) been addressed, you should write to James Dobson's Focus on the Family if you're interested in finding answers (www.family.org), or you can listen to it on Radio Rhema at 8:30pm-10pm weekdays 'cos they do a lot of this

your god is a figment of your imagination

Oh well that's a relief. See you at church on Sunday!

// you're not the first people to raise these issues and they have (mostly) been addressed.

heh, that reminds me of the God FAQ...

Of course I should have said see youse at church...

in the bible - the end of the world predictions, mark of the beast, end times blah blah, really makes me wonder if the people who wrote (translated) the bible were the ones who have been planning 'the end' for quite some time now.

Islam > Christianity.
