Did a bit of google action for you, looks like a classic instance of a Kiwi band hitting its niche overseas and being unknown here. They appear to have been a 3 piece, released an album called 'Allisone' on a Hamilton label called Cranium Music in 1998. Heavy psych / stoner rock stuff from the kind of hits I got back, singer is now in a band called Lamps of the Universe.
Link below should help explain who they are.
Cranium's got to be the same as the shop in Hamilton, which stocks (stocked?) heaps of stoner / psych / Kraut / prog stuff. Their site seems to have vanished (cranium.co.nz) and there's no whitepages listing so I'm not sure if they're operating.
