eh. four books into 2 hours, didn't jackson only turn 1 book into this film. The other 2 books are the other 2 films, and the3 fourth book "the hobbit" wasn't made into a film. I'm not sure but i think this is the case.

ok , pay attention miss butterfly - 1 book (the first of the trilogy - that means three, not four) into one movie, that lasts three!.... hours... not four or two or eighteen ... and it took five years to make... jeez ... and slight adjustment you say ... come on! they completly invented a dozen scenes... which by the way do fit in very well, more liv is more better..

me thinks you must have got scared and closed your eyes thru half the movie, and forgotten to take your earmuff's off after mowing the lawns... and your watch must be on crack...and you musta read some dodgy mongolian bootleg copy of the book

samflux, im pretty sure youre wrong on one count. the fellowship of the ring didn't take 5 years - the whole trilogy was filmed at once, and took six years to finish. the next instalment is arriving in 12 months, and then the third a year after that.

eh?? they cut fucken shitloads from the book. Where are the scenes from the Old Forrest?? No mention of Tom Bombadil or when they get their knives at the barrowdowns, and many more little things (eg. there is no mention of Gandlafs letter at the Prancing Pony) Maybe I'm just being picky, but would the little thing be that hard to do?. For what it is its a fucken excellent movie, but you shouldn't go into it thinking it is the book on screen. Its an adaption, and interpretation (as Jackson rightly states). I mean sure - it would be impossible to replicate the book, but I went in thinking that would be pretty much the book, and the number of ommisions certainly did surprise me. Definatley one to see though. Nice scenery aswell I was sitting there halfway through thinking 'dude - there's whakapapa! I had the mean crash not far from there!'

Ok BuTteRfLY, on the internet the only perceptions we can form of you are through how you present yourself grammatically. First impressions count and the way you type immediately pegs you in a pigeon hole. It is hard to take someone seriously if they type like text message and can say, oh I can type how I want, fine but don't expect others to like it. You can argue, take people as they are but there is a line that has to be drawn somewhere and proper writing skills are dying enough these days that for text message writing to proliferate scares me.

Perhaps nzmusic needs to establish a 'kindergarten forum' where anyone can pull hair, pinch and spit the dummy. Members of the nzmusic forum would keep a watchful eye on the 'kindergarten forum' but would not intervene in any way. Those showing potential would then be promoted to an apprentice, whereby a guru nzmusic member like Stefan would teach them the ways of the force. After a minimum of 10years training the apprentice would then be eligible to post in the nzmusic forum.
