if they do i REALLY hope they come to christchurch... we never get good international bands here, i think the only ones we had this year were Live & Tool (& robbie williams, but i dont classify him as worth seeing)... By the way everyone, my dream is to see Blink 182, be a lot easier if they come here to christchurch... im too young to go to auckland by myself... i wouldv'e insisted on going to BDO if blink 182 went again

yeah. guess. i can try to kid myself. though the only NZ band playing i haven't already seen (numerous times) is Augustino. I hope New order don't suck and that the expression (better with age) actually aplies to this situation, but they were never respected much as a live band even in their heyday. whats with the garbage/prodigy/silverchair headling call.. I mean if you are going to invite bands who haven't been big for years, why don't you get legendary bands not these flash in the pans. It's a sad sign when the majority of people going to bdo only really want to see Shihad and I'm guessing the odds are high that the had are gonna be doing the orientation thing this year anyway.

true..good job,yes. but i still sad. however i got a feeling that the BDO organisers are gonna annouce one of their "suprise" acts, a huge name that people have to see, rumours floating around mention the beastie boys (oh my god, how good would that be. I still cry myself to sleep for missing them when they played here. press pass fell through, gig sold out..arrrggghhhh.)

I do have trouble everynow and then. like anything people forget or people fuck up. My BDO pass last year fell through the day before the festival and because i didn't buy a ticket i didn't even get to see it, but was left stranded in wellington with all my gear packed in a car and had to cancel akl reservations and shit. Hopefully this years pass should be a bit more secure. getting a bdo pass is not easy at all. and some passes don't allow you to photograph the major bands.

just sneak it in in bits. put bits and pieces in your pants and shit where people don't search. I wish my friend hadn't told me this but once he borrowed my camera and smuggled a big lense under his crotch into a gig.eeewww. I'm just glad it was my old camera otherwise i would have to burn it.

yeh I am whinging a bit. are spiderbait playing Auckland, that would change everything for me. i thought they were only playing oz. white stripes are cool, but it's gonna be interesting top see them on a huge stage, only the 2 of them and all.
Regurgitator tour here all the time. Shihad rule. but will surely tour here to support their album anyway.

the kinks!! I saw them on that popular song show on tv. I knew the songs just not the band name, very cool. Also makes me wonder how many great bands there were back then that we never got to hear of.
