Yeah we are running a large scale event in 2007, and looking at possible music competitions that we could work with!
Events are in Aucks and Hamilton - Existing competitions.

rockquest is not auckland based. Its pretty evenly attended around the whole country, you could even argue that it was nelson based.
WBOTB is also pretty even around the country, it just happens to be that there are more bands per capita in auckland looking to enter lame band competitions then anywhere else in the country so you get more entrants.

Nope, NZ does not need another band competition - there seems to be a hell of alot of them already. Main reason of us doing our research is this, and seeing if there is already an auckland based event that we could either host at our event, or possible a heat.
