Oh it works in my car stereo and my stereo which is in the living room, but I listen to most of my music in my room which means i rely on my PC. Unfortunately my flatmate isn't "down" with the music of the "young people" so I rarely get the opportunity to actually use my beefy big balled stereo.

That was really more a dig at my flatmate who is 3 weeks younger than I am than any kind of comment about the works of our friends in the Flaming Lips or the audience they reach.

If anyone in the uk should catch VH2, they'er showing a small show of the lips doing a few songs in a studio along with an interview ... it's our studio one, they filmed it about a month ago. If you look you can just make out two big green martian type things in some of the shot's, one of those is one of our girls .. she came in without makeup on that day .. :-) ! They make the studio look good :-) ...

would it help any if I told you I was off on the day they came in to do the filming, I popped up in the evening to go for a drink with a few mates, walked in to find the place full of people in superhero costumes and some large green men or whatever running around ... I left swiftly for the pub .. thinking if I'm going to see that type of thing, I may as well be drunk and have a reason for it .. :-) !
