Hey Everybody,
We are looking for up and coming bands who have got a solid song and recorded track who might be looking to push themselves that step further by getting exposure through Juice, C4 or through the internet by getting themselves a video!
Interested? Read on…
First, a little about me and the director… I am a producer of sorts; I have produced several short films and a music video for Christchurch band 4manbob and am currently working in television. The director also working in film and television has a unique and powerful visual ability to craft compelling short films and music videos. Like you, we also want to push our profile and get some great videos under our belt!
We will get everything you need – the people, the equipment, the contacts to make and push your music video. We will work with you from concept through to post to help you get the video you want.
Seem to good to be true? Well let’s put on the table right now the catches
- We will get everything you need to make the video happen at little to no cost but you will have to be prepared to front at least 90% of the budget (after all you will get use of the video at the end of the video to do what you please). We can work with you and sort out your requirements, obviously a performance based video such as The Feelders recent vid would be a lot cheaper to produce versus Foo Fighters, monkey wrench vid. Our guide for a solid performance based video is about is about $200 but again, it all depends on what you want to do!
- If you wanna shoot on film, sure we can make that happen, but again you must have the budget to do that! Our guide to you is $2,500
- We will only consider solid and established bands (i.e. no pull together bands been together for 6 weeks) simply because in our experience, these are the bands that have the stickability, know what they want as a group, have the performance experience and have a good set of original songs. Plus, we have to be sure if we are going to put our time and effort in, that the band we work with will as well.
What to do now…
Send us an expression of interest and tell us about you,
- what music do you play
- who’s in your band and what do they place
- what’s your history
- do you have a recorded track
- can we see you play?
- Tell us anything else that might be of interest
If you still want to know more about us, by all means please ask, we will provide you with show reels and what not, so you know we won’t be a waste of time.
Email to eyehearpictures@yahoo.com.au
We want to make as many videos as we can, so we will be in touch if we will be able to help you out!

Not really doubting you at all and I'm sure your above board and all .. but I'm always alittle sceptical about some of these "offers" over the web where money's exchanged for services etc ... what's the deal with that from your end, is it money up front ? if so, how much ? I guess you'll work things out as and how, but as I said I'm always alittle sceptical.

Whoa... I'm really surprised this is the view you've taken. This isn't a 'bulk package' and there aren't any fees or anything fishy like that. If we need a generator, then the cost of that generator has to come from somewhere it is as simple as that, totally depends on the needs of the video. Everything will be accounted for, . I am not in the business of ripping anyone off.... we have reputations we would like to hold on to.

:-) all though I've never been caught out, I know of a number of people who have been .. they've paid upfront for the services of various people only to find out they either get nothing back, or rather a low quality of goods after .. I'm thinking of one such incident in Canada with someone bigging himself up, dropping names, and offering his serivces to struggling bands, they paid 50 % upfront he paid the other 50% .. which never happened .. only for them to come away with, as I said either nothing or a very poorly produced recording ... as I said I'm sceptical is all where money's involved. I understand you get nothing for nothing now a days, but that dose leave the door open to opportunists ... just me is all, don't take it personally... all that said, I wish you luck in your video venture.
I appreciate the concerns you have ...
I appreciate the concerns you have raised, but you're not going to get a feel for who I am or what my background is over the net. I just wanted to put the money thing out there, because with this type of thing it is an issue, so at least you guys can be fully aware of the situation before you go any further. But if you are serious about getting a video made, then we're serious about making one and there is no harm in writing us an e-mail to tell us about you....
Fair enough, voiced my concern is all, ...
Fair enough, voiced my concern is all, as I said before hope it all goes well for you and you get your bands and vids made.
