I want to bring two bands to NZ to tour our new albums around August/September. We thought we could do week 1 on the North Is. and Week 2 on the South Is. Both intense, tough, emotional rock bands (not emo - think PJ Harvey/Dirty 3 for the mime set and early Elvis Costello for Colour TV) and looking for other bands to headline/support.
I'd appreciate any help on good small-med venues, guarantees/door deals, bands and logistics. I'll check back here, but feel free to email me personally.
I can reciprocate with assistance on the Australian gig scene.
