Actually Mr Crux, I posted that before listening to it at all (a bit mean, I know...), and after having a quick listen I was pleasantly surprised.
The singing lets the track down a little but it's certainly not a lost cause - just needs a bit of tidying up. Your actual voice tone (something you can't really control) is very good, so it's just a case of getting your pitching up to speed. I recommend the "singing success" course, which I myself purchased from www.singingsuccess.com about a year ago. The teacher is gayer than a bag of penises (in spite of being married....and really religious. You figure it out) but he knows what he's talking about. Check it out.
I'd also recommend doing a lot of singing along with your favourite albums - when you copy what your favourite singers are doing, you'll stumble over lots of techniques you hadn't figured out for yourself.
