Sounds like a fun time, with a band name like the Psycho Sonic UFO's - I would imagine that the sound of this band is one of a battalion of WW2 planes re-enacting the bombing of Dresden, while a toothless drunk wails over the top of the din. No wait, that was the Iron Maiden doco on C4 last night...perhaps this band will be something different, but also perhaps similar to something we might have heard before and enjoyed...like maybe Comets On Fire...or Witch...or nothing like either of those bands. Anyway, the name has me intrigued already and I find it refreshing that this band will be made up of evil-faced hoary old farts, as opposed to the fresh-faced, snot-nosed kids who smell like urine that play in bands these days. Pull your pants up, for fks sake.

JakeSaucer, I don't understand - it's been nearly a month since you posted this, and you haven't posted anything else...how would interested band membranes get in touch with you? Personally, I'm excited to see there is possibly a band out there called the Psycho Sonic UFO's...and there's no-one out there to take up the call?...well, I'll put my hat in the ring as the Bonzer bass player...it reminds me of a band called the PsychoDaizies, who were fantastic...I'm sure that Baker has tapes and I want to hear them, but anyhoo, what gives with the band and the evil masterpan - I need an update on this freak-out that could hit Auckland soon...
