Dunno if this topic has been discussed before but does anyone watch this show? Do you believe all the photos ect?
I would like to believe it cause i like ghost stories but i cant help but wonder at how true all this is, after all its entertainment and a tv show so they have to make money/ratings dont they?
And why is it on tv so late? why are all the good shows always on at like 10, 11pm at night or 2pm in the day time?
This great travel show called "world odyssey" or something was only aired at a 2pm slot on a tuesday, like whos going to see that?
anyway this post is actually about ghost hunt- so do you watch it? what did you think of it ect? Do you have any spooky ghost stories yourself?

THis is the second part of the series ...
THis is the second part of the series the first half was on earlier in the year, it is fucken cool I watch it all the time.
But I have found myself asking...well myself some questions eg
There was a show on similar to this a few years ago Called Ghosts I think, they had a season of about 10 episodes and they found jack shit. Nothing. Zilch. Howcome this show suddenly finds something every single episode?
Maybe the ghosts are attracted to Carline Tailor ( Spelling? ) hmmmm shes hot.
Just as a bit of useless ...
Just as a bit of useless information.
Apparently you can be walking down the street in London and Scotland and places in Europe like that and see ghosts and not even know it, it is because these places are so old...well So I hear anyways, not entirely sure how you can prove it or who came to that conclusion.
And here is my ghost story... A few ...
And here is my ghost story...
A few years ago my grandmother died, me and her were pretty close and could usually communicate without words you know that kind of connection two people can somtimes have.
Anyways it was a pretty stormy day and I was getting home from a warriors match I had just been too it was late afternoon sometime, I had been locked out of the house because my olds were out and I didnt have a key and they had locked the door from the garage into the house for security reasons, but they left the garage door opener in a spot around the back of the house, we had the whole rumpus room thing with TV and couches etc in the garage so I could just chill in there untill they got home.
Our garage backs on to the road and the road runs downhill and gets really fucken slippery when it rains. I had tried to get into the house from the outside through a window or whatever but coz it was raining no such luck as none were open.
So I sitting there in the garage watching a bit of televsion and BOOM the fucken door from the garage to the house blows open. So at this stage im kinda shitting myself and I go in to check what the hell just happend coz it was locked, so I go inside and all I can smell is my grandmothers perfume everywhere, I walk into the kitchen and I hear a screech of tyres and smash some fucker who is travelling too fast spins out and slides off the road and crashes right through our garage, directly into the middle of the rumpus room area where I would have been sitting...
Whether ghosts are real or not Im not sure but I believe me grandmother savesd my life that day.
Sounds made up right? Nope swear to god it happened.
Woah, deja vu!...

since I'm of somewhat spiritual ...
since I'm of somewhat spiritual beliefs I tend to be more persuaded by ghosts/spirits than say aliens. I'm also not sure how much of what many of us experience is in our heads and how much is genuine mysticness. such as dans story, thats genuinely interesting, where as say as a child on several occasions I had believed I had seen ghosts, but it was more likely my over active imagination getting the better of me, deceived by shadows and light.
but then there was the time I told my mate if I patted this paper-mashay witch we had that the devil would come, so as a joke I tried to freak him out and did it... seconds later the cats booked it from the house and stuff caming falling down in the kitchen, being young and stupid i didn't get much sleep that night, every creak and sound scared me, it was likely the cats had knocked something over in the kitchen at the time I patted the witch and pure coincidence had made for a frighteing situation for a couple of kids. Funnily enough though, we thought we could take the devil on with a bb gun and a cross, it was the best we could muster at the time.
Buuuut, anyway, the house where I thought I had seen a few ghosts had no history to suggest such a thing might happen, yet living in old places in italy (near a very old cemetary in a very, very old village) and switzerland, or for the last eight or so years in my current home (where the original owner who built the home died), nothing. Funnily enough though, my mother fell in love with the house on its warm and friendly presence, people come into the home and comment on the samething, maybe a happy spirit graces our home? also our cats on occasion act very strangely (as many people believe they are far more receptive to spirits, and I think the builder was a dog person :p)

hye dantheman- i never saw that other show. I too wonder why it is they have seen so much stuff. But Caroline always lloks so genuinely scared lol!
I dont think your story sounds madeup- strange things do happen that there is no logical explanation for.
My storys revolve around my ...
My storys revolve around my grandparents:
My grandpa died when i was about six or seven. At the time of his death my mother was staying in the northisland with Grandpa and Granny.
At the time of his death he had his clock in the repair shop getting fixed- it was a jewellers shop i believe and the clock was ironically a grandfather clock. Anyway, he died in the early hours of the morning at 2am- later when Granny went to get the clock back the jeweller told Granny that the clock face shattered as he was locking up the shop around 2am the morning he died. Abit sppoky we think.
Another story is how my granny had a beautiful old painting hanging on the wall of an elderly maori lady- the day that this lady died the painting hanging at grannys fell off the wall-
these are small things- probably of no significance to some but still unusual.

sometimes its easier to ignore I just right off such odd occurrences as coincidence when its beyond share coincidence... less frightening that way, or we don't have to accept things for more than face value

// the clock was ironically a grandfather clock
It's not irony for your grandfather to own a grandfather clock. If your grandmother owned a grandfather clock, that might be ironic.
sometimes i can't take the show ...
sometimes i can't take the show seriously even though secretly i want to. there was an episode where there was this very very small kind of blur in a photo taken of a window and it was just sooo funny when they were like "oh that's definitely the ghost of joe smith" or whoever lived there.

also, i've seen that travel show, it's real neat.
If you tell somone an old building is ...
If you tell somone an old building is haunted and make them walk around it in the dark, they are going to get a bit creeped out by the experience.
I'd like to see them walk around a modern building built on reclaimed land (Te Papa, perhaps?) trying to look for ghoulies. "OMG! A giant skeleton!" "Yeah, that's Phar Lap."
I hadn't seen this show before but ...
I hadn't seen this show before but stumbled across the one on St Bathans tonight. I have to stay I found it a bit contrived. I'm not exactly a regular visitor to St Bathans, but I've been there a few times. I knew about Rosie (the ghost in the hotel), but I've wandered down to the Lake in the dark, slept rough there, been into the town hall, played pool and had a few drinks in the pub, and um, yeah. Nothing. Actually, I'd always been really keen to stay in the Vulcan, but when the price was still reasonable, I was a student, and now I wouldn't pay their new prices.
Actually, speaking of St Bathans, I've always wanted to stay in the old jail. It has an outside bath. St Bathans is great. Not too sure about the ghosts....
The 'evidence' they 'found' was ...
The 'evidence' they 'found' was pretty good...Funny how it all looked exaclty like it had been described by the owners and people who populate the place.
I am waiting for the final show where they end up saying it was some elaborate joke and they doctored all the evidence and none of it is actually real.
I still would like to know how these people who have had now like 10 shows I think have found 'evidence' of ghosts in ever single episode where as the people who had a similar show around 8 years ago now found nothing and they slept in the haunted places they didn't just walk around them...Mind you they didn't take photos they just had cameras filming them while they slept.
