i'm so gutted i couldn't get there - had to go out for dinner (girlfriends work party thing), and ate so much interesting japanese food that i went home and napped for about 3 hours .. .when i woke up it was too late to head to indigo. . . but man the album is cool - especially the artwork. . .

Honestly I don't think anyone could beat that little pearler. It's taken a while to get out but well I think it's worth it. Can it be a best album for 2006? Because everyone has already put up their best of lists...
Note to self...
Don't try crowd surfing a Cortina gig, dangling off the stage with a leg trapped in the new metal bar isn't cool.

That was a stunning evening on saturday - all acts inciting crazed dancing from elegantly attired punters..... aww yeah. Pity the P.A had a hard time coping with the disasteradio noize level, but it probably only added to the intensity of the rock 'n' roll freaky overload of the evening.

Most anticipated local whatevs since the Coolies album release back in '03! I'm k-relieved the album's actually coming out - I had occasional nightmares they'd pull a Xanadu & nothing'd ever see the light of day, + if any local producer could harness their live shock + awe, it'd be Dale Cotton.
+ first time I'll get to see the Mysterious Tapeman! & hopefully one of the first Miami Beach gigs!
