Underwhelmed by the final annoucement... yes (Savage and Deceptikons very very underwhelming.)
Underwhelmed in general... kinda. Will be in Auckland that day anyway (gotta see Sleater Kinney at the Kings Arms again,) so I will probably go... but will probably get drunk, too.

they should mix up/equalise the announcements a little bit. Imagine the carnage if some really big-name band was announced in the final lineup - the tickets remaining would become even more vital to get. As it stand, most people look at the first announcement and if there's not enough bands to make them go, don't even bother looking at the other announcements.

The fact that the oz big day outs sold out the day of the first announcement kinda changed things i think...

Yeah, I know - it just appeals to my sense or penchant for drama and surprise.

After being totally amped to go to the BDO and see AFI I am kinda deflated now and not sure if I will even bother.

Who is replacing them? Is anyone filling their spot?

.....Clearly Portia has offended Dan quiet a lot, for no real reason, Tama comes in, to lay the boot in sarcastically, and stir up the pot a bit more that nessesary (if nessesany at all (?). Im trying to stick up for Dan cause I see his point. I have no idea what the band is he's talking about.... But portia, could have just stated the "said band", is not his cuppa tea... he would have got his point across, without offending anyone..... an apologie could be in order from one or two people for this to be resolved so we can move on....

And The Simple Plan thing was actually, about stupid little girls ( in size ) who make a huge effort to push in front of you AFTER simple plan had finished, elbowing ribs, steping on toes and pulling hair to get to the front of a concert then complain because they are getting squashed at the front...it makes no sense, and that goes for anyone not just stupid little girls. If you push to the front of a concert dont complain when you realise you have the entire like first 20 rows pushing you against the security rail.

Seems I'm in the minority - but it'll all be worth it, I'm sure, for the White Stripes, even if their latest album wasn't as good as it could have been (still not too bad, though...)
