Play the Song Title/Lyric guessing game!!

You may or may not be aware of the things my co-worker and I do to wile away those long government department hours. Well, we used to be able to get away with it but not anymore which is why this is the last one of these MSPaintings.

Please... have a look. Each element in this drawing is based on a song title or lyric. For example... one which no one who hasn't already seen the original painting... the horse in the bottom right corner is a "Doom Pony" (Lucid 3).

A lot of bands are represented.. including a relatively healthy NZ quota

My favourite bit so far is "come on baby, light my fire"

This charming van
"I am the walrus, I am the eggman"

Knocking on Heaven's Door

Chumbawumba's Tubthumping? "Pissing the night away..."

Drivin' - Breathe
Toy Soldiers - Eminiem
Pogo - SOAD

Tequila Sunrise

Cocaine - Eric Clapton

Cocaine - JJ CALE

The Fool On The Hill

You are a legend for getting that. No one else could.

Wicked :)

Beatles - Here Comes the Sun

So far every guess has been correct except for:

The long and winding road- the beatles (I didn't draw this but apparently it CAN be this but also something else)

spacedog (close but not this song... same subject matter though apparently)

Crash into me

Leash

Midnight Oil

Pogo - SOAD

Cocaine - Eric Clapton
Cocaine - JJ CALE

(the hint is the lyric is cocaine, but it's not the name of the song and HOW THE HELL DID YOU GUESS THAT WAS COCAINE!? when he showed it to me I was like "uh... white skids?")

Beatles - Here Comes the Sun

//(the hint is the lyric is cocaine, but it's not the name of the song and HOW THE HELL DID YOU GUESS THAT WAS COCAINE!? when he showed it to me I was like "uh... white skids?")

hahaha, white lines

I wallpapered my desktop with this pic

<3!!!

It's the wallpaper on my PC at work and someone walked past the other day and said "wow what's that?" and I said "it's not something i did in work time..." and she paused "what?"

then i realised i should probably stop advertising how much time i waste.

//hahaha, white lines
The Thin White Line - Shihad?

nope.. .the lyric has "cocaine" in it. infact... that pretty mucH IS the lyric...

Bullet with butterfly wings
Peace train...... or Ghost Club - Suicide Train maybe?

it's cat stevens - peace train

Right...... I just thought maybe with the broken tracks and the people lying around the train....

Peace train it is then

That was just carrying on the tradition of having the Polyphonic Spree appear in all our pictures... and I forgot to add tracks at the time so.. they got added in..laying tracks.

(smacks head)

grey lady of the sea

alas.. that is not the correct answer.

she's really.. more... silver

..oh. Hmm.

Tears on my pillow?

Heh. No. Hint. That's actually a flag!

(I know! Someone else asked why the tea towel was crying...)

AAhh, yeah, first time round I thought it was a beach towel.

Well, it's almost don't cry for me argentina, but that's the flag for uruguay

//she's really.. more... silver

"Sail on, silver girl" - from the 'Bridge over troubled water' that's already been mentioned.

Hah. I don't know my flags so I just nodded and smiled. But I'm going to MOCK HIM SO HARD tomorrow. A good hard... mocking. Up against a wall. MOCK MOCK MOCK.

Bananas in the mist

oh, oh...

Lightning Crashes - Live

Dreaming of a White Christmas - Irving Berlin

Nope... the lightning goes with the car (Breathe)

// the lightning goes with the car

yeah, I thought the car was crashing into the lightning. Lightning Crashes.

hmmm, breathe you say...

White Christmas was right though?

It was indeed. The Breathe song has already been guessed though...

aha - I see. so is the lightning one is still unsolved?

//aha - I see. so is the lightning one is still unsolved?

You're just not reading, Noizy. The lightning is "like driving into a storm again, storm again..."

oohhhhh, right. duh.

Yeah. We once had this discussion about the most shameful CDs in our collections and his was Pop Life... and I giggled because I have a signed copy and I used to LOVE Breathe. So Breathe is our "in joke" which is neither funny nor "in"... hence the lyric. .

All the answers... REVEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALED *jazz hands*
