i'd just like to thank everybody who was touched (both emotionally and intimately) by my story.
there was some tough competition but music was the winner on the day.
ps. for those interested the best present that petra ever gave me was a beautifully packaged collection of lost and long since forgotten concert posters from my high school band for my 25th birthday. what a rad bitch.

For the record, half the reason that I voted for you was cos Paselode played one time in Auckland, and I was unemployed and depressed and fast running out of money, and you posted saying that you'd put people on the door if they had a good reason, and so I got on the list, and while I'd never heard you guys play before, that night I was like "oh yeah, there's rock'n roll, there are still good things in life" and it was like a rebirth and hooray.
