anyone in christchurch?

i've moved to christchurch recently and am looking for somebody (or a few somebodies) to collaborate with. i have an indie-pop background but would be keen to try any other styles as well - you can check out my old band but please dont be put off if it is too 'sunny/sweet' for you.
i played bass and sang in my old band, but enjoy mucking around on the guitar as well so i'm pretty much after anyone that is easy going and enjoys making music.

come along to the upcoming shows - thought creature / dragstrip / house of dolls tommorrow night at the dux, and the k-world special at creation on friday, they'll be plenty of us indie-pop regulars around...

hey i play drums, and am looking for a band - preferably of people who are just starting out on the band scene in Christchurch.

my influences are pretty wide ranging. not the most experienced drummer in the world - but i have good gear, and am a really fast learner. havent been in any bands for any significant amounts of time, but have performed at various musicals and cultural peformances as part of covers and filler bands.
