What kind of music will be played? Will it be hip hop and reggae same as other TV channels think we all want to hear - or - will this finally be the channel that realises there are a lot of hard out alternative/metal fans in New Zealand who WANT TO SEE OUR FAVOURITE METAL BANDS.
Thats a pretty harsh call Emily and i seriously hope you are joking, there are a huge amount of Metal Listeners in Auckland, hence why "The Rock" Radio station does so well. i'm hoping it will have a really good mix of content, something for everyone, not the same old, hip hop/rnb artists that bore us with their woes and hoes.Dont get me wrong those artists have their place, i just get sick of tuning into a music channel to see nothing but those types of clips.

well i can understand why she was dissing metal because yes, it is kind of gay...in a completely non-homosexual way...more in a testosterone-fuelled unlistenable way. i'm sorry, but while it has it's place it's pretty intolerable for the most part and has there been anyone who has actually pushed the boundaries of metal in like the last decade or so? i guess it has a certain level of cheese appeal but i mean...ugh. just because someone doesn't like metal it doesn't make them into top 40! that is an absolutely unfounded accusation...you've been listening to too much metal and have grown belligerent.
