I want a Banshee Reel reunion.

A bit off-genre for here I know but listening to Culture Vulture in my divider today. Truly magnificent. And the gigs were fantastic. And a young Julia Deans, boy was she hot. Heartbreaking.

Anyway I'd like news of a Banshee Reel reunion tour for Xmas. Where are they now?

Forums: NZ Music,

True bro, great live band.

By the way Foetus did you ever start that topic we discussed? I watched Shihad live at Aotea Square on C4 last night (gig from May 2005) and I'm convinced it's some sort of weave.

Ha! I had forgotten that bit. I'm sure we aren't the only ones who are secretly wondering, but no-ones gutsy enough to move the discussion 'on-line'... and let's just leave it at that, man :-)

This sounds interesting. Grow some balls ;)

OK. One question, four words-

Advanced Hair, yeah yeah?

You got to admit, it's looking way thicker/healthier... whats's the word... lustrous than ever.

Already regretting this...

Hahaha

You reckon? The last time it was long, it was red and worn by a young 90's bogan. Maybe he sold out to shampoo?

Arrgh, this is agonising... ok, check out the hairline in the Gimme Gimme vid compared to All The Young Facists. It is possible that I am imagining it all, but doesn't look a little like reclaimed land?

are you considering reclaiming some of your own land...

//are you considering reclaiming some of your own land...

Does it count if I've looked at certain shampoos? :-) I've made peace with my genetic ineritance. For the most part.

...actually, some days are easier than others...

*sob*

//...actually, some days are easier than others...

yes i know the feeling... best not to think about it too much.. a big fringe can do wonders haha

It seems wavier than it was back in the bogan days, but hair goes through changes as people get older - a change in texture is normal. It just looks like scraggly old-man hair - the typical aging rocker do.

oh..... heh heh. I'll have to check it out.

Well, you know where Julia is. Al became Mr Robyn Malcolm and pretty much refuses to pick up an instrument, at least that was the story a couple of years ago. Mo went to Jacky Tar and I'm pretty sure has collaborated a bit with Rob Joass (of the Hobnail Boots) and I found out from the Jacky Tar site that Gavin Duncan has moved to the UK (Dunkeld in Scotland to be exact). Chris O'connell I googled and found zip for. D=Same with Tony Coughlan.

thanks for the update :o) doesn't look all that likely then huh!

Last I heard, Chris was overseas (China? Taiwan?) teaching English.
