Is that what they're called now? i coached their band at Hamilton Girls High School in 98' the year they won the national final of the Smoke Free Rock Quest. Anyone know what they've done since? heard someone say recently that at least one of them may hang out Raglan way's.

what would it matter...when your not... grand..or even grate at what you do theres really no point ...I've seen Duchess around two times ..and they were rather boring ... pretty sure the keys are played by the same cat that plays ..FRances ...THE MUSIC lady ...on shortland st ,it all seems like a poor act at music if you ask me ..they only had one o.k.ish song and that dont count for much ...pitty it would be so cool to see ...MORE..girls,woman...make real music that stands on its feet and not a pretty set of teeth...

They won the rockquest when they were 17. My band played with them on Great Barrier Island and they were magical, about six years ago. Their music isn't complicated but it is lovely. I think you must be thinking of someone else.
