New Zealand Music Radio Shows

As an avowed Left Winger, or at least whinger I take no shame for recklessley asking for help re: title header.

Who here is Man enough to supply an exhaustive and coherent list of Stations/Specilist Shows that give NZ tunes a fair suck of the Sav?

I lack the wherewithal to actually bribe the contacts needed, or the computer skills to actually find this info myself, so as ever, any help greatly thankful.

Yours Faithfully

Forums: NZ Music,

look to thee bnets and yee shall find... radio active has two. the usual electronic/urban Greenroom which is hosted by loop records (who recieve a lot of demos etc so are in a pretty good position to have new stuff on a regular basis) and the (bar bodega?) nz music show which is usually pretty good and contains unchartered(an nz music news wire made by base 2/ling time active dj miles, its broadcast on all the bnet stations and on a few others as well).

...other than kiwi fm i have no idea wether comercial stations have any kiwi specific stuff and why would anyone care what more fm thinks about nz music.

It'd be a cool show if the bands didn't suck (always an exception though)

Hey there. You should come in one day, bring some 'good' music with you - it would be great to catch up. I have only done five shows so have actually covered a lot in a short time.

I work with what I have so feel free to send me a selection of 'good' music (Kiwi or otherwise). Expand my musical horizons!!!!!

Regards,

Tane

This is an Australian nz music show i send lots of nz music to:

ABC's Radio Australia has just launched a new daily two hour live music based programme, which broadcasts to the Asia-Pacific region. A program is called " In the Loop" .

Radio Australia is the international service of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
As well as being available on the net - www.abc.net.au/intheloop and short-wave
(world-wide) - we can also be heard on FM Bands in Asia and the Pacific.

One of our goals is to promote New Zealand music overseas and the new segment will feature new releases and interviews with singer-songwriters and musicians as well as profiles of touring artists and performers.
