A friend of mine was wondering what song it was the ABs ran out to. It was a modern Maori song - I can think of two (one including Kiri Te Kanawa) and another one which was done a few years ago, but can't remember the names of either...

There is a song called 'A Te ...
There is a song called 'A Te Tarakihi' which is a song about the mysterious cicada, an insect that lies under ground for seven years before hatching (or some such incredible time - correct me if I am wrong!!!)
There is a video clip here on NZ Music featuring that song. Someone did a more contemporary version that I have heard at Hurricanes rugby matches.
