For some reason, it's funnier in Latin...

I recieved an email from a work colleague recently, ending with the sentence:

"Always remember... Nil Illegitimus Carborundum!!!"

I thought it might've been a quote from Harry Potter or something, but I looked it up and found this site...

What's your favourite?

Forums: The Bar,

I quite like:

"CATAPULTAM HABEO. NISI PECUNIAM OMNEM MIHI DABIS, AD CAPUT TUUM SAXUM IMMANE MITTAM"

It's very similar to "X-Treme Latin" by Henry Beard (Hendricus Barbatus). That is the funniest Latin book I've ever read. "PEDICABO EGO VOS ET IRRUMABO" having to translate that in Latin class is always interesting...

Ha! Love it....

oooohh- I just noticed that my link has some seriously homophobic humour in it which I found really offensive- please ignore it.

Meh. Actually, make your own mind up...

...

"CUM CATAPULTAE PROSCRIPTAE ERUNT TUM SOLI PROSCRIPT CATAPULTAS HABEBUNT.
When catapults are outlawed, only outlaws will have catapults. "

Brilliant.

I've got a new favourite:

"UTINAM LOGICA FALSA TUAM PHILOSOPHIAM TOTAL SUFFODIANT!
May faulty logic undermine your entire philosophy!"
