Didn't much like the style of the show. I'm bored of the disinterested, semi-ironic style of host that they offered up.. and wasn't too impressed with the stream of boring songs...
I say more quality music..it doesn't all have to be the latest "hit"...especially lamoid Michael Jackson covers. I'd prefer goodness even if it's old goodness and especially more local content
I dont think m2 was the "latest hits" at all did you watch the full show???? Sure there were some more mainstream videos but i think we have to remember this show is for everyone, which unfortunately does include the top 40 type listeners, lets have a bit more tolerance and a little less uninformed criticsm thanks.
I only saw the fri night but I have to agree about the presenters, the chick was ok but the guys were blahhh! I was quite impressed by the local music content though and thought they played a good range of styles, the solely nz music segment should be at least an hour though! I was buzzed to see Pluto, Augustino and Weta among others!!

I didn't write that other stuff (and post it a million times) - because I can't log off, someone has taken the liberty of using my login to post messages - although, I have to say I do agree with them!!! As for the hosts being "blahhh" I think you should give them more of a chance. All three presenters you saw have never done telly before. Give them a chance before judging them and also think about how good you might be in front of the camera.
As for the music...there's no Britney or N'sync so count yourselves lucky. Plus M2 has SELF IMPOSED 33% local content. Tall Dwarfs, Joy Division, Unkle, 3Ds, The Clean... you can find all of these on M2 so I think, Nick, you have a funny idea of top 40.
Talk about looking a gift-horse in the mouth - maybe you're right, maybe we should have no music television...
