whaaaat, it's my fav the way the vocals swing in the verse.... i reckon it's the best on the record.. the chords remind me of crowded house - fall at your feet. given the other nominees it should hose in!!... i kinda wish it *popped* more in the choruses or something, anyway it's all class
hey now, if seeing them play 'Perfectly Evil' live doesn't make you want to dry hump everyone in sight, then I put it to you that you are dead on the inside.
// quite surprised at the lack of indignation on this topic
I, for one, have totally given up feeling any sense of outrage with regards to the outcome of any industry award. Names. Hat. Winner. What are you going to do?
Like many other great sayings it originated originated on the Simpsons in an episode where Kent Brockman mistook footage of ants for giant invading aliens and said "I, for one, welcome our new insect overlords."
It might be just me but "I, for one, welcome" never gets old. It's as good as "Please to be... " and "All your x are belong to us"
The very tall youngest one in my family was at the awards and gave a bit of shit to a couple of high fliers. I don't know if this is entirely true, but it seems that the APRA judges are Australian and evermore were the only band they had had any exposure to over there. Interesting, I thought, considering that they are NZ music awards.
