Techie stuff

just thought I'd point you in the direction of our website, I was talking to one of our techies last night and we were talking about some of our guys passing on info on some of the situations which they encounter in the recording enviroment, and putting things on our website, at the time I thought I'd come up with something, but this morning I remembered we were drunk, and I wasn't talking to one of our engineers, I was talking to Simon one of our techies ... but he did point out that we have a technical spot on our website which gives a few little pointers as to how we deal with a few things that pop up with our Pro tools systems .. which maybe of interest to some of you .. Richard one of our techies has been working on pro tools since they first arrived on the scene, he's been a roadie and in studios for about 30 years and he tests all the new tools as they come out and keeps our sytems upto date.. if you go to the website , go to techincal support, you'll find it there.

Forums: Classifieds,

Thanks very much. This is useful. Not ot everyone of course but to a lot of people!

Ta James, I guess with more and more pro tools around, people will come across a few problems, there is a website somewhere that Richard goes to and posts so I guess his opinions are out there in the right places somewhere, but I think what's posted on our site relates to problems our engineers have encounted and managed to work out with Richard... I did ask Simon who's our I.T bloke if he'd put a forum on our site, so our guys can put info up about problems and solutions they encounter so others can read and maybe of alittle help to people, but he seems to think there's enough sites out there that cater for that, which I guess I agree with .. Shame really as our guys tend to know their stuff.
