UM Im an aussie too, and yes this site is great.......but one reason for coming here is that there isnt enough good music in aus............i mean, yeah there is.........but there's not, you know?!
i mean we have the pop punk bands trying to sound american............................and then we have bands like magic dirt, and grinspoon and such,.......and although they're alrite........i must admit i regret the magic dirt c.d's and i've only ever heard one good grinspoon song....

bands like custard, regurgitator, the avalanches, eskimo joe, frenzal rhomb, machine gun fellatio, and nancy vandal.......they must be australia's best stuff..............................................................................and although that's quite a list.......i think there's still something we're lacking.....and it pisses me off to no end that Triplej unearth bands like killing hiedi and grinspoon (they're their only sucessfull unearths.....after how many years?)
and then they play corporate bands like linkin park and limp bizkit, and stuff like eminem that you can here on the bloody fox.....and claim to be "alternative". I mean, and then you have Kingsmill and Rossie and such, who forever sit on the fence and never give their opinions on anything. Rosie makes me sick, these little teenies ring and she pretends to be actually interested in what school they go to and such....
I mean, it's ok, but im sick of the things above......it's just annoying. no wonder aus bands cant be heard!
and then MERRICK AND ROSSO (although adam and will are kinda cool) who were almost the only reason i listen to the station leave for nova

i cant explain it........but it's disapointing how we push EVERYTHING aside for sport. it's like, your screwed if you dont like sport almost.....it's a bit of a joke...
