Currently playing guitar for an indie-rock band, but have spare time on hands and would like to cater towards my more aggressive musical tendencies and get involved with some musicians who enjoy influences such as At The Drive In, Thrice, Foo Fighters, Iron Maiden, Bloc Party, The Strokes, Weezer, BRMC, Queens of The Stone Age, Thursday, Funeral for a Friend, Sommerset, Kitsch etc.
Basically a "punk-rock-dark-emo-metal-post-hardcore-less-screams-more-harmony" type outfit or anything that remotely ressembles that sort of sound. I've been playing for a few years and have a fair bit of gigging experience, only average on theoretical knowledge, but I'm fairly solid in the playing department and am happy to play lead or rhythm and even sing a bit.
Really keen to hear from a likeminded bassist, drummer, vocalist and another guitarist (maybe even a keyboard player) in a similar frame of mind, preferably 18-30 (I'm 26) who wants to jam, maybe not super serious at the moment as this will probalby be a side project but if it evolves, I'm willing to go the distance.
Best of all, I have top-end gear and FREE practise space available at my home, which will include a good condition drumkit and vocal setup that would suffice for practises.
