keepleftnz.org is quite possibly the best political website ever created, at least in New Zealand, the creators of keepleftnz.org proclaimed today.
keepleftnz.org was launched at a champagne breakfast at an undisclosed location in an undisclosed New Zealand city this morning. By the end of the breakfast, the creators of keepleftnz.org were in near unanimous agreement that the website would play a pivotal role in the upcoming election campaign.
“This website is pretty damn hot,” Ringo said. “When the left is returned to power, commentators will look back at today and say ‘the launch of keepleftnz.org really turned the tide in the election.’ Oh, keepleftnz.org and that student loan thing.”
keepleftnz.org is an independent website that exists to re-elect a left-leaning Government. It is not affiliated with any political party. However, if any party would be willing to sponsor the site’s creators, who are reasonably hungry, the support would be welcome.
The site is a resource for political geeks who have already read everything else on-line. It includes key rationales for sticking with a left-leaning Government, polling analysis (better than Molesworth and Featherston’s we think), competitions and a range of witty and entertaining satire (both in video and still image form, for your enjoyment).
“A lot of geeks have been telling us that when you spend all of your waking life on-line, you can exhaust your options for new political material pretty quickly,” Paul said. “With keepleftnz.org, we figure we can give them at least another 20-30 minutes of happiness.
“We’re also going to update the site every day between now and the election. That means we can keep nerds and geeks alike entertained for about a couple of minutes a day. Basically, we look at our work as a public service.”
keepleftnz.org can be accessed at www.keepleftnz.org.
The creators encouraged people to visit the site. “Please go to the site,” Yoko said. John echoed her sentiments.

Yeah I think it looks pretty crap too. I just passed the link on to four leftie friends and they reckon it makes a laughingstock of the left. Maybe if you did some more (intelligent) work on it it could be better. Yes, harsh but true.

I see two left-wing blogs are dissapointed in keepleftnz.org's video advertisments too. They say they are "deceitful," "wrong," "grossly misrepresented" "unnecessary," "deceitful and regrettable" and that "Keepleft should be ashamed of themselves for stooping to such tactics."

Meh. I don't see why people felt a need to say that the Brash vid 'grossly misrepresented' anything. I mean, duh. Does someone need to apply for planning permission from the Holy Council of The Left before they can make fun of Don Brash?
