i heard grayson gilmours second album yesterday- grayson is one of the so so modern boys. I think he's a genius, my god i'm jealous. And how old are these boys? bah. But yeah, worth checking out... one of the most inspiring and fresh local releases i've heard....
These guys are AMAZING!!! A totally original sound which they have created on the basis of their own influences/experiences and not derived from their immediate surroundings which I have found to become so common with much of the music coming out of Welly at the moment...which is so refreshing and inspiring!!! Everyone should def go and see these guys play live if you ever get the chance - synth attack!!! :)
mmmm. Try Graysons solo stuff for more 'depth' and then come back... I see so so modern as a party band, like the mint chicks or die die die- those aren't bands i'd look to for 'depth'....
