So everyone you know thinks 8Forty8 are the best band in Hamilton? Or maybe, that's what they tell you so as not to hurt your feelings.....then they go and check out their real favourite band, PRIME DEVASTATION.

Maybe you should go to a PRIME DEVASTATION show and see for yourself why this band has made such a name for itself.

Prime Devastation are so good that they can only play stadiums, and even then there's near riots for tickets.

yeah but only because you had the audacity to argue your band was better than Prime Devastation, probably the Waikato's most viciously rocking band of all time, without even hearing them! Imagine if you'd said you were the most rocking band in the whole world, and somebody said, no Led Zeppelin was more rocking than you, and you went, well come to the 8Forty8 show and then we'll see. Imagine that. Because that's essentially what you've done. People are saying Dean is the new Bonham.

Prime Devastaion are funny. Apart from their most recent news online being December 2003 on their website they have spelled their name no fewer than six different ways.

At least when they promoted themselves they said this:

"Prime Devastation is one of the Waikato's premiere rock acts"

8FORTY8 Iam sure that you will get added sometime to this site it just takes a long time sometimes for things to get done. They seem to be very busy!

I never intended this stupid competition to happen, so to all in PM, sorry, it's a bunch of bullshit and maybe we can gig together some time.

Prime Devastation is still spelled no fewer than six different ways????? Unless the band have name variations depending on who is the lead vocalist or other instrument changes.

I like the singers voice but the thing is, if this music was released 15 years ago, it would have been average then.

Well i invite all of you skeptics to the show at Diggers, it would be worth your trip i'm telling you, you wouldn't be dissapointed. 8Forty8 are as good a live band as anyone and you aint heard Led Zep covers
played as well either, and i do have back up on that as in the past 8Forty8 have done a Led Zep tribute show with great success and feedback. We may have been out of the game for a while now but we're back with a new album near comletion to follow up the debut "Edge Of Time" which won the 1993 Rock93Fm album of the year award and recieved great reviews here and overseas like in magazines like Australia's Hot Metal Magazine, you can read that review on the 8Forty8 website. So come on down to Diggers Back Bar and experience the power of this band for yourself, you won't miss PD a bit, i promise.
