Gritty and raw, I don't mind that.

I think that I was expecting a string (violin) solo rather than a guitar solo. I don't know if it added anything other than a change in sound.

Good use of range from the vocalist. After singing mostly lower register stuff it was good to hear the change near the end and that the voice quality continues in the upper range. Use of vibrato seemed well controlled and not over done.

Once again that guitar, I don't know if it adds or detracts but me personally I would change 'clean' it up a little bit or get rid of it.
