The name of the band is "Mama Said", and the reason it is over the Battle of the Bands ad is because they won the competition last year, one of the prizes being the recording of the "Good People" single...

Mama Said have also just made a cover of DLT/Che Fu's "Chains". For a ska band, Mama Said have done a great job on this one!
