I've heard that Indigo bar has been sold to someone who will turn it into a Nightclub... taking the emphasis off live bands. I'm guessing that was Steve's plan when he got a 6am licence and started those Knixx Til Six nights.
Although MAAAYBE it'll be a good club... we've all heard the stories of clubs overseas which play constantly good music and are amazing, right?
If I'm wrong, then please correct me.
But if I'm right, we're left with only Bodega, Happy and Valve...

The only difference will be that there wil be better drinks made. Steve ex Bodega and Lie low is running the bar, the guys who own good luck own indigo, but they see the point of difference and will keep it as the grungey grimey rock bar it always has been.

that place was a horrible Cess Pool anyway. Only bar brawl i've ever been involved in was there. It was revolting. Some hoe offered to shag my boyfriend in the toilet while i was at the bar. gross. Thats not even the same one i got in a brawl about. Did you SEE the state of the toilets at 5am? I also used to work at the cafe that used to be ther and KNOW about the cockroach problem.... yuk. At least indigo have sorted out their sewerage problem. ; )

apparently there will be some positive changes to Indigo but they will keep doing the live thing. I think they just want to make it more of a place where you would want to hang out in even if there wasn't a gig. And Steve is the best bar tender in NZ! yay for the return of Lie Low style cocktails.

heehee, those teapot pinacolada (sp?) things were deadly, taste like pineapple fru-ju's going down so of course you drink lots of them . . . but when ya get up to leave, you find your legs don't work how they should . . .
