Ben King

This is the general discussion forum for Ben King

Forums: Bands,

Ben King has an amazing voice. He's led the Lowriders, the Wars and he's playing bass in Goldenhorse - not to mention his solo work... and what a fantastic guy he is in person. Ben, please release 'Can I kiss your sister?'

this could happen soon

Just wondering if anyone can point me to the direction of any downloads of Ben King, like mp3's, or any type of media files. I have yet to hear his sound, but I've been hearing great things about him!

don't download, buy! single coming out in may, album in september

did anyone catch him on TV1 last night at 10:45 on "The Last Word" with Pam Corkery?

he played with Godfrey De Grut and his voice is absolutely amazing, that's one CD he can consider sold already.

i know, i know. downloading bad! i just meant, are there any samples on any pages, that sort. i'd buy, but i'm in the states! any word on a release date?

wow - aint that a long time to reply.

worth waiting for his album tho - actual living musical genius!

Big fan of ben king...jane, i know you posted a while ago but i would like to inform you that ben king is actually the gat player for golden horse not the bass player. Heard his solo stuff not so long ago, ben if you are out there, you are a rocker!!! would recco to anyone that they buy the album... i will...when i can afford to...hmmm...

he was originally the bass player before all the line up changes, so that solves the confusion :)

Yeah, I did post that a long time ago when Ben was on bass (before Vince joined the group)

When's his album due out?

According to the record company, it's out next mont

his stuff are rather yawn inducing.... Yawnnn

Cheers forgot to look there. Lovely lovely.

The video for "Ordinary Day" makes me feel physically sick. Not due to the sickly sweet nature of the song (which I'm ok with), but with all the camera movement. I had to walk out of the film "Breaking the Waves" due to motion sickness, and I suspect I'd do the same if "Ordinary Day: The Film" were ever to be released.

just bought the album in my lunch break today...currently sitting in my office with a discman playing beautiful ben king songs in my ear...

lovely lovely....

oooo oooo!! there is a bonus track!!

(still in my office...still listening...)

Ralphie and I are on our 4th listen and we are agog. Will come back to your forum and post a decent review when we aren't pissed. Beautiful beautiful songs.
