I'm looking for a step up/down transformer if anyone has one they wouldnt mind parting with for some bucks. I need to step up from an american 110 to a NZ 240 volts.
needs to be able to handle up to 1000watts.
Its for an old projector ive had lying around.

Are you wanting to run the 110V projector here, in NZ?
If so, you need a step DOWN transformer.
Check out JayCar Electronics.
A 1000W transformer is pretty expensive and heavy though.
