actually it was because Reb Fountain's management wrote to me regarding the quote, they wanted me to credit her as "battle of the bands judge" so she wouldn't be mistaken as someone who was affiliated with my views, i haven't bothered changing it yet so that's why it's down at the moment

i don't really know what Christianity has to do with being right wing? everyone seems to associate right wing with "facism" whereas Act are like the most liberal party ever and Labour is like, totalitarian - legislating and governing on every aspect of our lives and creating lots of unfairness

i think the reason why so many musicians are left wing is because so many of them are poor and uneducated, can't make their own money so they take it off those who have earned it, hate right wingers 'cos they think they have some special right to drag them down (probably 'cos they're envious)

i guess in some way that is related to Christianity - which is about equity, whereas being left wing tends towards equality. communism sucks, people. NZ music month is about equality - promoting crap music in general (forcing people to listen to at least 10% NZ music on radios because otherwise it wouldn't get played since overseas competition is too tough, ie. most overseas bands are way better than NZ bands that NZ bands don't stand a chance). capitalism is the way to go - you're recognised because you deserve to be, because you've actually put in the effort to make good music
