THE PERFECT GUITAR??

Does it exist??I have owned a few over the last ten years and like the u2 song "I still havent found what Im looking for",I think its cos the guitars I like are out of my price range. Anyone got a nice Taylor or Martin for sale for $50,sweet cheers.
p.s.I dropped mine the other day and Im sure I felt some physical pain.lol

I don't think the perfect guitar would be any fun.
It's the weaknesses & flaws that help give instruments their personality.
'Technically Perfect' guitars sound bland or sterile.
'What is the Perfect Guitar?' is a bit like asking 'what's the perfect colour?'
'Better' is relative to what you're looking for in an instrument.
There's good music hiding within any guitar, regardless of it's build quality.

I'd still like a Rickenbacker 620 though.

Yeah, the Perfect Guitar is the one you keep playing.
I like this bit about "flaws", Fboy, those kinks can be incorporated into your playing "style".

That said Steinberger's are pretty much Perfect, and heck the hours Ive put into mine...

I have a Washburn dreadnought acoustic. I don't know if it's the best - it probably isn't - but it's got a nice, thin neck (barre chords aren't really a hassel) and it's served me well for the past 5 or so years. Only crap thing about it is that it has no pick-up, but I have no real intention of playing in front of large audiences, so...

I have a Washburn dreadnought too, it was like $600 and I've been gigging with it for three years. I had a $500 fishman put in it and it's absolutely awesome. It kicks the shit out of $1200 guitars with built in preamps. I think sometimes you just get lucky. Mine's a D12 I think. Solid top.
