Assuming he's worth 500million, and that "worth" earns him 11 million each year(e.g., his house doesn't make him money, beatles songs do). So he sells 300million of stuff, which would presumably reduce his income. So suddenly he's got no debt, but less income, so he's still fucked.
he doesn't earn "interest", he earns mechanical royalties, not just from the beatles, but from anything in his 50% share of ATV/Sony publishing (sly and the family stone, some elvis..etc...).
