Staple Mag RIP

Not sure If anyones said anything yet. But this is a real shame. Staple was a damn fine mag, always kept it real and was a great alternative to Pulp/Pavement.

But massive ups to them for giving it a go. Fucken print publishing sucks ass, but they produced a very nice looking and good reading mag. I'm gonna miss those photographic essays.

Forums: BOTB,

word. sad stuff.

Dang! Staple was better than pulp and pavement.

Agreed. Staple was cool. The latest issue has some of Matt Hunt's art in it (ie Cortina)! Among other gems. Check it.

ok

It has a double Cortina respect page - Hatt Hunt on one and Coogan on the other.

... and the mix tape article is cool... go my flatmate :)

actually... go MY flatmate.

Cool, I thought Bek was in there too.. gotta admit my budget hasn't stretched to magazine purchases in a long time :( I only knew they were in there cos Matt had a copy

Check out the article on Thomas:Parkes too... the latest act on South Recordings. If you're in the South island they'll be doing support for The Phoenix Foundation on 3 dates. Download the new single here and look out for the video next week

it is indeed sad to see the demise of staple. what was nice about it was the acknowledgement that theres life outside fo auckland (which sometimes pavement seriously lacks - I don't know about pulp) they had some wonderful articles and i'm sorry to find out its going.

No, I never got to see this mag...
