Signer's 'Low Light Dreams' album seems to be going damn well.. he did a tour round US, Canada with PanAmerican, who's pretty wicked (solo project of one of the guys from Labradford) and then more round Europe.
don't know if it's got distro in New Zealand. probably not, it's through carpark records out of New York.
Just saw this in the latest Carpark Records mail out:
We are excited to announce that August will see
the release of Signer's "The New Face of Smiling"
on Carpark. New Zealand's Bevan Smith (aka
Signer) has taken a poppier approach to his new
record, while still retaining some of the darker
elements of his last record "Low Light Dreams".
If you are a fan of noise-drenched pop like
Flying Saucer Attack or My Bloody Valentine we
think you'll make a new friend soon. The Signer
live experience will be in your town later this
year.
