48 hour film fest!

so who else was in 48 hours this year? what genre did you get? did it go well? any dramas? happy now?!!

i was in it, my team had fantastic gear and an editing studio, we are soooo happy with our film, apart from the bloody countdown that Final Cut Pro put at the start that we didnt have time to remover. it went fantastically, and we got horror. i got to be a main actress!!! it was stressful, exhausting (physically and mentally), but above all, fun. im so excited about the heats, as i really believe we have a good quality film!!! :D

Forums: The Bar,

I did it this year. Fractured Radius, the team I was part of, had done it twice before, so they had all sorts of experience and tricks to get through it.

We got romance for the genre, and indeed did make a lovely romantic film. Also of note is the subtle use of the require prop (a banana) and an even more subtle mention of Fractured Radius' trademark phase, "Shit my balls."

Anyone who wants to see "Fruits of Passion" or, any of the other Auckland teams films, can do so by rocking up to the Civic next week with $11. Check the website for times.

Of course, Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin are having screenings too, so if you're in those towns, there's something cool to do.

oh wow Fractured Radius....actually yours is the one im most hopingto see.....ive heard lots about your team, your leader 'Zoot' is on a few forums that im on...

I was. It was absolute rubbish.

really? well that sucks. my group was awesome.

I thought you guys were terrible - it was like...badgersbadgersbadgersbadgersbadgersmushroommushroom snaaaaaaaaakkke...snaaaaaaaaake..ooohh..a snake....

wow. that would possibly hurt if you knew who my group was, or had seen our film - which you havnt, as i t hasnt yet screened.

So when are you screening?

next week. jordanluck, how old are you? are you that precocious ugly brat jordan who goes to a posh private girls highschool by any chance? it sounds a lot like her/you.

We got the dreaded 'musical' as our genre. Our movie was a piece of shit too, good times. Real shame that the 'splatter' movie from Dunedin was late in and therefore ineligible - it was really well done.

musical oh god im glad i didnt get that. horrors *my* genre. *i scare little people*
musical would have been a barrel and a half of laughs, but a bit of a bitch in terms of easyness/hardness.....
