Meterman are wicked! My barely-legal-teen friend says that the lead singer is a spunk and the drummer's pretty good too. She says that her friend is in love with the bass player as well, so look out boys!
Great sounds, great night out. Pity the CD was nowhere to be seen though - is it late in getting pressed? I have no idea where the rest of Dunedin was, as there wasn't much on that night (there's heaps on tonight, so maybe everyone was at home resting up), but they're all FOOLS!!! Meterman were fantastic - incredibly tight, beautifully complex timings, gorgeous tonal sounds, and just plain great rock.
I'm gonna spend today yelling at everyone who didn't go.
Nobody was at Bath St afterwards either - bizarre.
Er, & I left halfway through Meterman's set - a bit too chugga-chugga rock for me. Props to Rawer, though.

The problem with "Rawer" as a name is that it's impossible to say easily with kiwi vowels - yr mouth goes all "uaahh" in the middle (ie you say "Roarer" or "Roowwahh" or etc etc).
That's always a problem with all the soft fucking consonants after the 'r', tho. But still, it takes me about three attempts to say it correctly.

Great sounds, great night out. Pity the CD was nowhere to be seen though - is it late in getting pressed?
