Sorry for the blatant abuse of privileges, but this is a good cause for a local business that has had some hard luck.

The old Mount Cook Cafe has re-opened. The guys who ran it recently as Mojave (really nice food, I mean really nice!) moved to Cambridge before Xmas. They sublet it to a new group who basically didn't pay rent and couldn't even cook. The old owners were forced to come back to Wellington and boot out the new tenants. The good news is they have reopend it as the it once used to be called - The Mount Cook Cafe! The food is back to its best and you'll find great coffee at $2.50 in the mornings.

For those that understand what its like running a business like that, and for those that love and know the Mt Cook vibe - get over there and support them with your lunch and dinner money. A great guy who's doing the right thing and needs some cuistomers to come back after a horror tenant.

Food is simple and great again. NZM recommended.
