punk/rock band wanted

im a 19 yr old guitarsits been playing for around 7 years, live in East Auckland, looking for anyone else who wants to start a punk rockish type band

influences, blink 182, sum 41, metallica, green day, papa roach, 3 doors down (their new album is damm good) a bit of linkin park, MEST, tsunami bomb ( a few songs) some slipknot, ataris, less than jake, rise against , and blindspott

just to name a few,

if you are interested post back here and we will sort something out

the only thing is i dont really have a place suitable for make noise in thats the only sort hook up i have,

hey just a thought would you ever consider playing bass???? i have a mate whos pretty good on guitar and i know hed be keen for a jam and bassits are so hard to find, he has a bass at his place so you dont need to go and buy one if you do consider it in case it doesnt work out, me and him have been mucking around for a while,

i wanna kinda get serious and really try to start something too and hes got a pretty decent downstairs bit at his house where me and him jam

but yeah pennywise, Mxpx, a bit of the sum 41 shit from their albums all killer no filler and does this look infected, ( im learning some of thier new shit at the moment), ummmmm blink 182, Hot action cop ... if uve heard of them ?? yellowcard... without the violin of course, greenday, pretty basic stuff that you dont have to be a guitar virtuoso to be able to play

but yeah the likes of that pop punk- punk rock type maybe a bit of metallica or whatver mixed in

haha i've considered bass plenty of times. I could always give it a shot and seeing as there isn't one there it shouldn't be too bad. I'm in Roskill, but i got my own transport so i'll be sweet driving out there if i have to.

I used to be into all those bands mentioned, still quite like a few of them, so there's no real problem with that aye.

Wow this sounds like the kind of band Ive been wanting to start up for ages.
I like pretty much all the same stuff as you, kinda creepy.
Havnt had time to play much guitar lately but I like to think Im pretty good at singing, I was in a band in Canada we mostly played Green Day stuff, Ive been meaning to sell my guitar and take up Bass for a while now.
