ok JET ( if that indeed is your real name ) yes Sonic rock is a loose name for a style that doesn't base itself purely on riffs but still has rock elements but is'nt araid to exreriment. This is as opposed to visual rock of which we have seen alot of overblown hype over the last few years where a bands style of dress seems to explain what thier music is like ie: generic.
