Hey
I’ve been to two of your gigs now. While the sound at The Cross was dubious, your set and sound at Valve was choice. You have an eclectic and excellent mix of styles and songs. I think you are great.
I am however, family and/or friend.
i stubbled upon valve on Sat and saw riff peddler in action. While their presence and some vocals could be tightened up, their set was original, varied and interesting. I seem to remember some kind of ho-down song - I liked it. Keen to see more.
The gig at Valve was great! Just like that other guy, I liked the hoe down song the best. It was also hilarious when that guy in the audience who I don't know yelled out "Helen's a ho." I also don't know Helen.
But yeah I had a really good time. I also saw you play at the Cross. Valve was way better just because of the setup I think. Otherwise you guys did a LOT of practising in the intervenint week.
nah we only practiced once or twice between those gigs. I think the main problem was that the sound guy at the Cross was drunk and had absolutely no idea what he was doing, where as the sound guy at Valve was a complete pro. cheers for the posts , where looking at booking a gig sometime in the near future at bodega or indigo so we'll keep everyone posted. alternatively, Rico Suave are playing the valve this friday (the 4th), considering they were awsome at the Cross, I recommend anyone with some free time to check them out..... we'll be there anyway
