No visible scratches or dents. The only imperfections are a slightly shiny patch worn on the body from were the heel of my hand rests when playing. The hardware which comes into contact with sweaty hands the most (knobs, tuners) is also slightly tarnished. These are both very minor cosmetic defects, consistent with 18 months use ... the bass is otherwise in as-new condition and has been carefully looked after.

well I'm in hamilton and starting a new job tomorrow, so basically I'm very interested if you can hold off selling it over the next two weeks. I'm not fussed over any minor aesthetical ware, its just part and parcel of second hand equipment. As long as the electronics, and hardware are fine thats a really good price... oh no neck either.

re: the price... yeah I got a good deal + I've been trying to sell it for a few months now... and it seems the market for an unconventional looking 5-string in nz is pretty small.... Anyway... it's a great deal for someone...
